Gloom is a Grass/Poison Pokemon introduced in the first generation.
Gloom is one of only two known Pokemon to completely lose its secondary type upon evolution, the other being Paras.
After evolving from Oddish, Gloom gains hands, removing the need for its leaves to grip things. This is useful because 4 of the Oddish's leaves transform into the petals of Gloom's flower. The flower and leaves are no longer green, the leaves grow to the side from underneath the flower, and the flower can emit a strong odor, which can be controlled by Gloom. The petals and leaves can be any color, just as the body color of the Oddish, and each petal has spots that look the same on each petal. Roll 1d8+27 inches for random height and 1d6+16 pounds for random weight.
