Metagross is a Steel/Psychic Pokemon introduced in the third generation.
Metagross is the evolution of Metang and has three possible Mega Evolutions: C, L, and R.
Morphology[]
Customization[]
Metagross is very similar to the Beldum it evolved from. It has a cross between its eyes which can be any metallic color. Roll 3d4+56 inches for random height and 6d10+1180 pounds for random weight.
Biology[]
Does not have blood, instead uses magnetism to transport the necessary nutrients around its body. This magnetism allows it to perform all of its standard functions, such as walking, communicating, and attacking. Metagross spend most of the day hunting for food. When the hunt does not require all four brains, some of them go to sleep; this allows Metagross to be awake most of the time, only requiring a couple hours of dedicated sleep for all four brains each week. The four Beldum which joined to form Metagross use their brains in parallel to increase overall function. Its four legs can rotate over 270°. It can put its legs in a horizontal position to change into magnet mode, during which it cannot to anything except move and communicate, but it may travel almost 60 miles per hour.
Culture[]
They guard large groups of Beldum with Metang, always knowing where the others are due to their magnetic fields. One colony can never have more than four Metagross at a time. Hunting occurs primarily during the day, and they pass the nutrients from hunting to the Beldum and Metang by having them attach their claws to their sides at night. Magnemite, Magneton, Magnezone, Nosepass, and Probopass all avoid the colony due to the high magnetic traffic in the area. When they do require sleep, they attach themselves high on a cliff near the rest of the colony.
Racial Abilities[]
Metagross keeps all the abilities it had as a Beldum; Clear Body, Levitate, and Light Metal, but can only utilize Levitate while in magnet mode.
