Nidoran is a Poison Pokemon introduced in the first generation.
Nidoran have a bunch of poisonous spines on their backs and spots on their sides. The females have light fur and a short horn while the males have dark fur and a longer horn. Roll 1d6+12 inches for random height and 1d6+12 pounds for random weight, then add 4 inches and 5 pounds if male.
Nidoran are very docile creatures which defend themselves very well by covering themselves with poison whenever threatened. They eat mainly grasses and vegetables whenever they can find them. They sleep between five and seven hours while it is dark and spend most of the day dashing from one place to the next.
Nidoran spend the whole day together - usually competing with each other. They form colonies of many Nidoran, as well as a few Nidorina and Nidorino, and one pair of Nidoqueen and Nidoking. They form two nests very near to each other in which the males and females sleep separately to keep them from fighting through the night.
